Production deployment is the end point of your integration effort. This phase requires careful coordination between development, security, operations, and program teams.
Request Production Access
Once your agency has executed all necessary agreements and completed technical readiness validation, submit your production access request. Include documentation of QA testing results, soft launch outcomes (if applicable), security review approval, and go-live plans.
Production access requests are typically approved within 3-5 business days for agencies with complete documentation. Ensure all prerequisites are met before requesting access to avoid delays.

Deploy Workflow Integrations
If you are developing your integration within your agency, migrate your validated QA workflow integrations into your production environment following your agency's change management procedures. Production deployment should use the same code, configuration, and business rules validated during QA and soft launch testing.
If you are adopting the integration from your core vendor system, follow instructions from your vendor to deploy the latest version of the system with the Do Not Pay Connect integration included. Consider any custom configurations you need to make.
Monitor Performance
After production deployment, closely monitor system performance, response times, and error rates. Compare production metrics against QA baseline to identify any unexpected behavior. Track key performance indicators including:
- Average API response time
- File processing turnaround time
- Match rate trends
- Error and exception rates
- User adoption metrics
Set up alerting for performance degradation or error threshold breaches. Early detection of issues allows rapid response before they impact program operations.
Most agencies experience minor refinements during the first 30 days of production operation as real-world usage patterns emerge. Plan for ongoing monitoring and optimization rather than treating go-live as a "set and forget" milestone.
