The following are companies recognized by Treasury as alien reinsurers - except on excess risks running to the United States - as surety companies doing business with the United States.

Please note: these companies are not authorized for reinsurance on federal bonds as they do not hold a Treasury Certificate Authority under 31 CFR 223.1. Refer to the regulations at 31 CFR 223.1, 223.10, 223.11, and 223.12 for more information.
