2023 Joint Financial Management Improvement Program Conference

Date: May 8, 2023
Location: Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center

The Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) conference, a cooperative undertaking of the Treasury, GAO, OMB, and OPM, will hold its JFMIP conference on May 8, 2023, from 9:00-4:45 pm at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Most sessions will also be livestreamed for virtual attendees.

The JFMIP conference provides a forum for those in the federal financial management community to learn about current issues, exchange knowledge, and share experiences in improving financial management operations and policies. All educational sessions will be led by federal financial management experts and select business partners.

This event will offer up to nine federal financial management sessions. Up to 5.5 NASBA CPEs can be earned. Attendees have the option of choosing in-person or virtual attendance.

Scantlebury Award

Nominations for this year’s Donald L. Scantlebury award are open. The deadline to submit a nomination is March 15, 2023. For more information about the award and to access the nomination form, please go to JFMIP Awards (cfo.gov), under the JFMIP Awards tab.

Registration

Registration is available exclusively to federal and state employees, and vendors with current government contracts. The registration fee is $200, payable on Pay.gov. This event is non-refundable.

2022 Government Financial Management Conference (GFMC) Virtual
Date: August 24 - 25, 2022

The GFMC is a free virtual conference which provides up to 9 NASBA continuing professional education (CPE) credits. All educational sessions were led by federal financial management experts and select business partners.

Fiscal Service Advisory Council Payments Forum 2022
Date: Wednesday and Thursday, June 29-30, 2022, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Payment Management hosted the Fiscal Service Advisory Council (FSAC) Payments Forum online on June 29-30, 2022.

The forum provided a unique opportunity for agencies to hear first-hand updates about federal government payment products, services, and initiatives.

The Future of Payments and Collections Forum

Of these services, money movement, financial data, and effective customer service face a growing number of changes as the financial ecosystem adapts to the increasingly digital world.

The Future of Payments and Collections forum brought together thought-leaders and decision-makers across government, industry, and academia to provide an in-depth look at the payment innovations and cross- industry challenges that are transforming the payments landscape.

Treasury Minority Bank Summit
Date: Thursday, April 28, 2022, 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM ET

Treasury has a long history of supporting minority banks with two specific programs, the Minority Bank Deposit Program and the Treasury Bank Mentorship Protégé Program. This summit focused on collaborative efforts, program highlights, and current issues and challenges facing minority deposit institutions.

Virtual Data Sharing Agreements Agency Partnership Event

During this Agency Partnership Engagement, we walked you through the process of standing up a data sharing agreement with us and provided you with an understanding of the different types of agreements and their purpose. You learned the type of information you may need to provide to us in order to stand up an agreement efficiently. We also reviewed our payment integrity tools in the event that you have any unmet improper payment needs.
