The EagleCash/Navy Cash card is a branded pre-paid debit card that looks like a typical debit or check card. EagleCash//Navy Cash combines a chip-based electronic purse (stored-value function) with the traditional magnetic stripe (debit card and ATM function). The electronic purse replaces currency aboard ship.
If you're permanently assigned to a ship, you're eligible to receive an EagleCash/Navy Cash card. If you're a visitor, you can be issued an EagleCash/Navy Cash 'Visitors card' while aboard the ship.
EagleCash/Navy Cash was developed in partnership with Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), the U. S. Navy and Marine Corps, and the Department of the Treasury.

Going forward, www.navycash.com will redirect you to the new EagleCash/Navy Cash website: www.eaglecash.gov. Your credentials are still valid in the new EagleCash/Navy Cash website.
The EagleCash/Navy Cash website now requires multi-factor authentication. Cardholder access will go through ID.me and all System Agents will need to authenticate with a CAC/PIV.
