Event Details:

A Private Collection Agency (PCA) is a private sector entity that specializes in the collection of delinquent debt. While the Bureau of the Fiscal Service first tries to collect the debt in several ways, if the debt remains unpaid it is generally sent to a PCA to assist with collection.

This session provides detailed information on the roles and responsibilities of PCAs and how they are used to maximize the collection of delinquent debts owed to the federal government.
