FMQSMO@fiscal.treasury.govEvent Details:
In this workshop, we will focus on two major areas for the FM QSMO Core Financial System (FS):
- Portions of a Core FS that can be delivered as fully functional (e.g., via standardized configurations, standard reference data, standard extensions) “out of the box,” versus those Core FS functions that agencies must retain the ability to control, operate, or customize.
- The need for interoperability between the FM QSMO Core FS and other business systems, also known as “mixed systems.” For example, requirements for the exchange of business information between an acquisition, grants, or travel system and the Core FS.
We want to work with you to:
- Validate the features and expected functionality needed in a Core FS
- Define your agency needs for the Core FS Baseline Offering versus an agency configurable / controlled functionality
- Determine the minimum features needed in a Core FS
We are looking for participants who have knowledge of Core FS processes, including:
- Familiarity with mixed systems that give or receive data to the Core FS and the current system architecture (e.g., cloud versus on-premise)
- Understanding of your agency’s current financial system software delivery/pricing model (SaaS, PaaS, etc.) and critical related system attributes
Read ahead material will be sent out on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020.
