The Centralized Receivables Service (CRS) is a Treasury program that helps federal agencies manage current, non‑tax receivables by standardizing workflows, improving regulatory compliance, and automating the entire receivables lifecycle—from initial invoicing and payment processing through early‑stage collections and the seamless referral of eligible delinquent debts to Treasury’s Cross‑Servicing program. 

 

CRS supports agencies with invoicing, outreach, dispute processing, documentation management, multiple payment channels, and call‑center services such as collection calls and skip tracing, while using Treasury systems like Pay.gov and the Collections Information Repository (CIR) to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and transparency
