2019 Joint Financial Management Improvement Program Conference
The 2019 Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) conference will be held May 20, 2019 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
This one-day training event is a cooperative undertaking of the Treasury, GAO, OMB and OPM. Participants will learn about the latest developments and improvements in federal financial management practices, systems, and operations from a selection of up to 16 educational sessions.

Fiscal Service Advisory Council Payments Forum 2019
Date: June 4-5, 2019 | Location: Social Security Administration, Woodlawn, MD
This forum provides a unique opportunity for agencies to hear first-hand updates about federal government payment products, services, and initiatives. Please take this opportunity to join us and stay informed about the future direction of payments.
Participation is open to all federal agencies. Multiple representatives from each federal program agency are welcome to attend. However, voting on Council initiatives will be limited to one vote for each agency processing site responsible for submitting payments to the Fiscal Service.

2019 Government Financial Management Conference (GFMC)

Join us for the 2019 Government Financial Management Conference (GFMC), to be held August 12-14, 2019 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
This three-day training event will allow you to earn up to 21 continuing professional education (CPE) credits. From a selection of up to over 50 educational sessions you will learn about the latest developments and improvements in federal financial management practices, systems, and operations.
The GFMC is open to federal employees and contractors. Enrollment fee is $300.
The conference will likely sell out by late June, so register early.
Registration process for federal agencies
- Federal employees attending the GFMC are required to complete the 2019 GFMC Government Employee Registration Form
- E-mail the completed form to FinMgmtConf@fiscal.treasury.gov. Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service will use your registration form as proof your agency has approved your attendance, and use the Intra-Governmental Payment and Collection system to transfer your $300 payment from your agency.
- The Bureau of the Fiscal Service is no longer authorized to accept government credit cards to pay for this conference. All Federal payments must be sent via IPAC.
Registration process for federal contractors and others using their personal credit cards
- Payments using personal credit cards may be done at Pay.gov; contact FinMgmtConf@fiscal.treasury.gov to request a link site.
- This site will not be publically searchable. Federal personnel who wish to use a personal credit card are authorized to use Pay.gov.

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service hosted an Agency Partnership Engagement on Payment Integrity on April 10-11, 2019, onsite at the Philadelphia Financial Center in Northeast Philadelphia.
This event provided a unique opportunity for agencies to share their knowledge and expertise and proactively engage in discussions on payment integrity across the Government.

All educational training sessions were led by federal financial management experts from the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Management and Budget, Federal Reserve Bank, and selected partners and agents.

This forum gave attendees the opportunity to learn how the Fiscal Service can help identify, prevent, collect and resolve agency receivables.
The Symposium was scheduled for May 23 and 24, 2018, at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Conference Center in Washington DC and provided federal program agencies the opportunity to create and strengthen connections with other federal agencies and Treasury as we work together to identify and prevent improper payments, improve receivables management, and increase debt collections.

EFTPS Industry Day: Learning Together

EFTPS Industry Day: Learning Together offered an insider's look into the US Treasury's vision for a world-class Electronic Federal Tax Payment collection system.
This event spotlighted speakers from the Treasury and provided the platform for an energetic dialogue in which invited attendees can influence the future of payment technologies by sharing best practices.
