The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Payment Management, is hosting "The Future of Federal Payments Forum and Reducing Checks Workshop" on Thursday, April 23rd in downtown Washington, D.C. (Liberty Center Building, 401 14th Street SW, Room 107A/B).
Plan to attend this one-day event to learn about Treasury's new Agency Priority Goal (APG) to drastically decrease the disbursement of paper checks and how this will directly impact your agency. Read about the current agency priority goal to reduce paper checks government-wide at https://www.performance.gov/treasury/APG_treasury_3.html.
Learn about Fiscal Service's suite of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) products and hear from other federal agencies that have successfully moved away from paper checks despite some of the same impediments facing your agency.
This forum and workshop will include opportunities to network and collaborate with subject matter experts in Payment Management and federal e-commerce.
Our goal is to help federal agencies identify unique challenges and develop solutions in issuing payments electronically which will reduce cost and improve efficiency across government.
There is no cost for this event.
Topics will include:
- Payments 2030 Vision
