Release 3.0 Phase One Overview
OTCnet Release 3.0 aims to enhance the user experience by introducing two new payment options: Card Processing for credit and debit cards and a Full-Service Kiosk Webservice to enable users to make self service payments
Introduction of Card Processing and the Full Vendor Kiosk Webservice
Currently, OTCnet supports Check processing and Deposit processing. Release 3.0 will introduce two new payment options for agencies: Card Processing for credit and debit cards and a Full Vendor Kiosk Webservice which will enable self-service payments.
Release 3.0 is divided into two phases: Phase One and Phase Two. Together, Phase One and Phase Two will provide Card Processing and a Full Vendor Kiosk Webservice option, streamlining the over-the-counter payment capabilities provided to agencies with a single application. Release 3.0 Phase One will implement the following improvements:
- Implemented a working Card Processing Webservice for use with the OTCnet Full Vendor Kiosk. The changes implemented in Release 3.0 Phase One are not visible to users. This feature enables agencies to use their current Kiosk User Interface and add OTCnet as a payment processing option.
Internet Explorer 10 Retirement planned for Fall 2019
Fiscal Service is always looking to broaden the methods to access OTCnet and modernize options. To further this effort, Internet Explorer 10 will no longer be supported beginning in Fall 2019. Internet Explorer 11 will continue to be supported without interruption.
