WEBINAR: Treasury Report on Receivables (TROR)

Wednesday, January 17, 2018
11:30 a.m. Eastern Time

Registration for this workshop is now closed.

Debt Management Services (DMS) will host TROR training for federal agency employees on January 17, 2018. There is no charge for this training.

The Treasury Report on Receivables (TROR) is the federal government's only comprehensive means of periodically collecting data on the status and condition of its nontax debt portfolio. Federal agencies are required to submit TROR receivables and collections information to Treasury, and must refer eligible debt that is more than 120 days delinquent to Treasury for administrative offset.

This training will explain the TROR reporting requirements and will provide instructions for completing the TROR. The training will also offer guidance for reporting and managing agencies' delinquent debt in accordance with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996 (DCIA) and other debt collection authorities.

Federal agency employees will also be introduced to the Financial Information Repository (FIR), a Treasury website that supports transparency and accountability by providing easier access to financial information.

DMS will send out Webinar sign-on access and handout information to registered attendees prior to the webinar.
